ARIZONA FISHING REPORT – MAY 12TH to MAY 18TH, 2025

ARIZONA LAKE FISHING REPORTS
Fishing report for below listed lakes. On the dates May 12th, 13th and 14th we had Red Flag warnings with winds exceeding 50 mph. The following report is for the following 4 days.
LAKE PLEASANT
Water temperature in the low 70’s. The lake level has been rising, but they are getting ready to start releasing water for irrigation. The Agua Fria river will be opening up on June 15th. Those fish haven’t been fished since December 15th. Stripers are starting to his top water, with smaller ones hitting in 60 feet on anchovies.
BARTLETT LAKE
The lake has come up around 10 feet. The lake was dropping during the spawn, and it probably will not be the best spawn this year. The rise in the lake came a little too late. Water temperature in the low 70’s. Numbers of bass caught is good. Crank baits, drop shots, Texas rig creature baits, spinner baits all work well.
ROOSEVELT LAKE
Another 10 pound plus bass taken over the weekend. Water temperature in low 70’s. Fishing is good for numbers and nice fish being taken on Glide baits, deep cranks, drop shots, swimbaits, creature baits and Senkos.
HORSE LAKE
SAGUARO LAKE
Not a lot of bass being caught, but the ones that you do catch are 3 to 6 pounders. Water temperature in the low 70’s, water color is really tainted. Deep cranks, big swim baits, and creature baits and drop shots are working.
ALAMO LAKE
